If I hear one more person scream "BROKE", I'm going to fucking scream! Why do people do that? Do they really think that's cute or amusing for a GROWN ASS person to always claim that they don't have any money? I mean seriously. It's 2008 for pete's sake - if you're working and you can't seem to get ahead, it's clear to me that you have three options: 1) find a new career path, 2) get a second job or 3) shut the fuck up and deal with it! I personally don't know any millionaires within my immediate circle, so I think it's safe to say that the average person has probably had a financial road block at one point or another. And lord knows that we're ALL going through it right now...
I've had my share of being lite in the pockets (and I can't guarantee that it won't happen again in the future), but thank goodness I've learned quite a bit about budgeting, not spending money on frivolous shit simply because I can and not living above my means..so for now, I'm good. Do I still have room to improve? Ab-so-fucking-lutely! If I didn't, I wouldn't have to work everyday!! I've also noticed that you can't give these same folks any constructive advice regarding what you think they should do. Mafukkas get offended and get all defensive about shit, so why bother. Maybe they're doing it for sympathy...unfortunately they learn the hard way that I'm NOT sympathetic to a grown person with a job who can't manage their money! Nope. Not me. Male or female, friend or foe --- doesn't matter! I ain't got shit for you! lol
And speaking of 'males'...whats up with brothas trying to holla and then after a few conversations, out comes the hardships. It never fails. No, I am not dogging brothas that's trying to make it or even trying to portray that I'll turn my nose up at a dude if his pockets aren't fat, 'cause that ain't it either. It's not necessarily the "broke" part that irks me. It's the "broke-and-I'm-not-trying-to-do-anything-about-it" attitude that I can't deal with.
