Finally, my locs have reached their 12month mark! People from all over warned me about the patience that's required when you're starting locs...I clearly underestimated that advice. There were days where I regretted my decision with 'how' I started my locs..I wanted to cut them off and start over...I wanted to cut them to be more uniform in size...the frizzies got on my LAST nerve..my scalp itched like crazy and there were just days that I didn't feel pretty.
Low and behold, I made it and even decided to color my locs to celebrate. I absolutely LOVE the color, my
loctitian did a great job. I know it's lame to say, but I forgot the actual name of the color..my specific instructions to her were that I wanted my locs "red". And that's what I got...
